This year, Huawei Cloud launched Pangu 3.0 models. In meteorology, the Pangu weather model is the first AI model to outperform the most advanced numerical weather prediction (NWP) methods. Furthermore, the prediction speed is several orders of magnitude faster. In the past, predicting the path of a typhoon for the next 10 days took 5 hours. Now, the Pangu weather model can do it in 10 seconds. The Pangu weather model has been adopted by the European Center for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMPM), the China Meteorological Administration and the Hong Kong Observatory.

This implementation has doubled the concurrency of online learning access and reduced LMS operating expenses by 25%, significantly improving the quality of education for 180,000 students.
In the financial sector, AFP Integra, a subsidiary of Peruvian multinational financial services company SURA, leveraged Huawei Cloud ‘s Cloud Container Engine (CCE) and Web Application Firewall (WAF) to address user experience issues caused by high latency during peak hours. This implementation led to a significant reduction in the application’s response time, reaching values below 40 milliseconds and improving the overall user experience.
