Could Google establish a new frontier for AI-driven search with its new Circle Search feature?
Internet search is transforming. Even though users continue to leverage search engines to inform themselves or seek solutions, it might not remain the future directive.
Consider Google’s Circle to Search feature, for example. It lets users search for anything on the screen and ask questions about it.
This could also become a reality for Google’s in-house AI chatbot, Gemini. The following was primarily spotted by the Android Authority as they closely observed a “Circle Search (DF)” option while Google was illustrating Gemini’s screen-sharing abilities.
This could be transformational for manual searches, where users had to capture their screens manually and attach them in Gemini. With Circle Search, they will be able to circle their screen and directly feed it to the AI bot.
But this remains a hope. Some speculate that the tech powerhouse may integrate this new Circle Search with its Circle to Search feature. But Google hasn’t released any official update on this.
However, the market and Google users are excited to witness how this feature might transform search and make it more convenient.
