Data Pipelines Features
Sumo Logic Data Pipelines bring intelligence to the full data lifecycle, helping teams decide what data matters, where it belongs, and what it should cost to manage.
A live pipeline preview lets teams filter out noise and route data to lower-cost tiers or external destinations before it adds to the bill. AI-assisted configuration handles rule writing that previously took hours and automatically flags anomalies and format shifts. It acts as an intelligent pipeline assistant that recommends what to route, transform, or drop, always with a human on the loop. This gives customers full control over their data strategy without adding another costly tool or agent, enabling them to ingest higher-value telemetry they previously couldn’t justify.

Sumo Logic will then extend the solution into a platform-neutral pipeline, giving organizations the same intelligent control over data destined for additional external tools and platforms.
This intelligence extends upstream through an OpenTelemetry-native management layer with AI-assisted configuration. By providing a single pane of glass to group, monitor, configure, and deploy OpenTelemetry collectors and pipelines, Sumo Logic removes the cost and complexity of maintaining additional agents.
